What is a domain name?
A domain name is a combination of letters and characters, together
with a domain extension (such as .com or .co.uk) , that can be
used as the basis of your web address and email address. So iresolutions.co.uk
is a domain name; www.iresolutions.co.uk is a web address and
info@iresolutions.co.uk is an email address.
What characters can be used?
Domain names can only include the letters A to Z, the numbers
0 to 9 and the hyphen (-), nothing else. No spaces, underscores
(_), etc. Email addresses can also use underscore and full stop
before the @, e.g. john_smith@iresolutions.co.uk would be valid,
as would john.smith@iresolutions.co.uk or john-smith@iresolutions.co.uk.

As part of our
range of services we provide domain name registration, whether
we are designing your website or not. You may want to register
your company or a related domain name for use at a later date,
so we can take care of this for you and register it in your name.
Even if you decide
not to choose us for your website design at a later date the domain
name belongs to you, so it is up to you how you use it.
We can register
domains on your behalf such as .co.uk, .com, .net, .org. .uk.com,
.eu, .biz and many more including the new .co domains.
